At the time Plicca was supposed to be a sort of Medium.com for the Portuguese speaking communities around the world and a tool to help writers improve their writing through the use of machine learning. It was also an experiment in Natural Language Processing (NLP) from all the data we could get, since there weren't that many existing models made for the Portuguese language, in fact my friend and CEO of Plicca Antonio Bernardino had reported that NLP at the time was mostly done around the English language and only now investment was becoming stronger in other languages.

Since then Plicca evolved into a totally different product and I am not a part of it any longer but I am very proud of what the team is doing.
